1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Lionfish Tech Advisors (“Lionfish”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for your use of Shop with Leo (“Leo”, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, submitting a Private Beta request, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Shop with Leo is an AI-assisted personal shopping service. Leo helps you research and compare products and services by understanding what matters to you, narrowing the market to a short list of ranked options, and presenting recommendations backed by live data and human-verified vendor intelligence from the Lionfish Aquarium platform.

Leo is currently offered as a free Private Beta for shoppers in the United States. Some recommendations include links to third-party retailers; these may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking — at no extra cost to you.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• You may sign in with email and password or with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when signing up or creating an account, and to keep that information up to date.
• We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that present security risks.

4. Private Beta access

Access to the Service during the Private Beta is by approval. Submitting a signup request does not guarantee access. When an admin approves your request, we will create an account for you on the associated shopping platform and send you an email with instructions.

We may change, pause, or end the Private Beta at any time, with or without notice. Features, availability, and pricing may change when the Service moves beyond the beta period.

5. Voice Ask and microphone access

If you use voice Ask, the app may request access to your device’s microphone. Audio is captured only when you actively start a voice request and is used solely to transcribe your question into text so Leo can answer it. We do not retain raw audio recordings, build voice profiles, or use audio for advertising.

You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your device or browser settings. Declining permission does not prevent you from typing questions to Leo.

6. User content and Ask history

“User content” means the questions, prompts, feedback, and other information you submit to Leo. You retain ownership of your User content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to use it to operate, improve, and personalize the Service for you — for example, by saving it to your Ask history so you can revisit past recommendations and so Leo can tailor future answers.

Your Ask history is private to your account. We do not sell it or use it to advertise to you. You may request deletion of your Ask history or account at any time by contacting us.

7. Recommendations, affiliate links, and third-party sites

Recommendations are generated automatically and reviewed against data sources we believe are reliable, but they are provided for informational purposes only. Prices, availability, and product details change frequently; always confirm the final details on the retailer’s site before you buy.

Outbound links may be affiliate links. Clicking them may take you to a third-party site that operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for those sites, their content, or their handling of your information.

Nothing in Leo’s recommendations constitutes professional, financial, legal, or medical advice. Use your own judgment and consult the appropriate professional for decisions in those areas.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of others.
• Submit harmful, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, or spam content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
• Use the Service to make automated decisions in high-risk domains such as healthcare, credit, or employment without human review.

We may investigate and remove User content or suspend accounts that we believe violate these rules.

9. Intellectual property

Lionfish Tech Advisors and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including the Leo name, logos, designs, software, and content created by us. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission.

10. Termination and suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive will continue.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIONFISH TECH ADVISORS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lionfish Tech Advisors and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
